Longtail boats glide across the brown waters of the Chao Phraya while gongs resound from Wat Pho in Bangkok's humid air. At the Grand Palace, the Emerald Buddha watches over glazed tile roofs, facing the prang towers of Wat Arun that pierce the morning haze. The Bang Kachao district reveals an unexpected jungle in the heart of the metropolis, where residents pedal between incense workshops and mushroom farms.
In the alleys of Yaowarat, the Chinese quarter exhales its aromas of stir-fried noodles and spices, bearing witness to the waves of migration that shaped this city of a thousand faces. Jim Thompson's house tells the story of Thai silk, while the National Museum reveals the treasures of the ancient Siamese kingdom, from Sukhothai bronzes to Ayutthaya royal carriages.
Three days are enough to grasp the pulse of this capital where Theravada Buddhism, Chinese traditions and tropical modernity blend together.

The "Venice of the East"
Accompanied by your guide, you join the quays and board a public river bus. Along the water, you head towards the historic city center, on the right bank, to the flower market at Pak Khlong Talat. Stroll through the fragrant aisles and experience your first immersion in authentic, traditional Asia.
You set out to discover the architectural gems of Bangkok. Marvel at the splendor of the Grand Palace of Bangkok, built in 1782: a sumptuous complex of buildings and inner courtyards, including Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). You discover the famous Emerald Buddha, a precious statue dating from the 14th century, at the heart of one of the country's most venerated sanctuaries.
Then, on foot, you reach Wat Pho, one of Bangkok's oldest temples, renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and elegant pavilions. You discover the impressive Reclining Buddha, an iconic figure of the place, as well as the inner courtyards dotted with stupas and refined decorative details.
Then, you cross the river by small boat to reach Wat Arun, the famous "Temple of Dawn", standing on the right bank. Upon arrival, you admire its spectacular central prang, finely decorated with porcelain mosaics and floral patterns that glimmer in the light.
Ride aboard a traditional private long-tail boat on the Chao Praya river, one of the country's most important waterways and a vital artery of Bangkok. As you drift along the water, you discover the "Venice of the Orient", between peaceful klongs, stilt houses and small temples hidden along the banks.

Bangkok's "Green Lung"
Embark on a bike tour through the capital's green lung in the extraordinary Bang Kachao neighborhood - a true jungle in the heart of the city. At the entrance, you can rent bikes to explore the park.
You can also visit an incense stick manufacturing workshop and several small temples and see old houses in the neighborhood.
Next to Chinatown, you'll find the amazing Talat Noi neighborhood, one of Bangkok's oldest. Steeped in Chinese culture, this place is full of curiosities of all kinds, from street art to unusual houses and timeless temples. A true discovery of authentic Bangkok.
Visit of Wat Traimit or the Golden Buddha Temple, and the small but very interesting Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Museum, which traces the history of Chinese immigration to Bangkok.
Suggestion: In the evening, you can stroll freely through the Chinese quarter, wandering through the alleyways brimming with shops of all kinds. Early in the evening, the night market sets up on Yaowarat Road and its lit side alleyways which give new life to the district. You will find all sorts of Thai and Chinese specialties for dinner.
Bangkok in Depth
We start our day with a visit to the Bangkok National Museum. Considered the most important in Southeast Asia, the museum houses a vast collection of antiquities including prehistoric art, murals, bronzes, objects from other Asian countries as well as ceremonial carriages used by the royal families. (2 hours will be necessary for this visit)
We then head to the Jim Thompson House, a fascinating character with multiple lives, from spy to art collector, whose mysterious disappearance still fuels many fantasies and theories today.
In the evening, dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River.

Before your arrival, you must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), a digital arrival form implemented by the Thai authorities.
This document allows you to transmit to immigration services certain information required for entry into the country:

The form should generally be completed online in the days prior to your arrival. A digital confirmation or QR code may be requested when passing through immigration.
Travelling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
